What we collect

If you ask for the free story, we store your email address, the language you chose, the page you signed up from, and the date. That's all. We do not ask for your name, your child's name, or any other detail.

How we use it

• To send you the free first story you requested.
• To let you know — occasionally — when a new volume is released.

We never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their own marketing.

Children

The stories are written for ages 4–8, but this site and its email forms are intended for parents and guardians. Every signup requires confirmation that you are 18 or older, and that check is enforced on our server — submissions without it are refused. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Analytics & cookies

We use PostHog for privacy-respecting analytics: no cookies, no persistent identifiers, no behavioural profiling, no session recording. Each browser tab gets an in-memory identifier that is discarded when the tab closes, and we honour your browser's Do Not Track signal. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — stores the subscriber list.
• Resend — delivers the free story and new-volume emails.
• PostHog — anonymous, cookieless analytics.
• Vercel — hosts the site.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe link. Email hello@gentlebedtimestories.com and we'll action it promptly.
